Akamai – Edge Conference

Artists use all types of canvases. Different shapes and sizes. But when the folks at Akamai told us about the canvas for this project, our jaws hit the floor. For their annual Edge conference in Miami, they had a screen the size of three movie screens side-by-side.

But we embraced the challenge of creating something that could play in this enormous space. And then we ended up creating Edge videos three years in a row. Each of the videos pushes the aspect ratio to the max. We sought to immerse the audience in the story by creating eye-popping visuals that demonstrate how Akamai is changing the world.

And one of the videos actually required us to be at the conference in person — so we could do a live switch to a body cam. That was pretty cool. Doing the live switch. And being in Miami just as it was getting cold back home in Maine 😉
