LogMeIn – Rescue Lens

There’s an old adage: the most difficult shoots are always the most memorable. That’s an old adage, right? Well, it should be. Regardless, it definitely applies in this case.

Let’s be clear, though: these shoots weren’t difficult because of the agency, the concepts, the talent or the crew. That stuff was all awesome. It was really just the circumstances. The first spot — “Gary and the Garage Door” — was shot two days before Christmas. In Maine. In a wintery mix of snow and sleet. It was supposed to look evergreen. You know, like a spot that might be shot in Pasadena. (We may or may not have had to remove some frosty breaths in post!)

The second two spots — “Paula” and “Howard” — were done during an overnight shoot that ran from 4PM to 4AM. Unless you’re a firefighter or a nurse, you never really get used to working the overnight shift. But we soldiered through (see above: awesome agency, cast and crew!). The spots ended up just how we wanted plus a few happy accidents — like Paula smashing that ink cartridge.

And the byproduct is we’ve got some memorable stories to tell.
